Why does a light ray gets dispersed in a prism and not in a glass slab

1.	Why does a light ray gets dispersed in a prism and not in a glass slab?
Answer» It is becauseglass slab act like two prism in which one is put from side of vertex and from the side of base which make the dispersed light again white light
