Why does menstruation occur. |
| Answer» In females, only one egg is released from a single ovary every month. Every month, the uterus prepares itself to receive the embryo in case fertilization occurs. But if fertilization fails to occur, the uterine wall is breaks, so that it can be prepared for the ovary which will be released in the following month.
