Why is it that non-metals do not replace hydrogen from dilute acids?

1.	Why is it that non-metals do not replace hydrogen from dilute acids?
Answer» Bcoz they are acceptor of electron and not able to give electron to hydrogen ions of acid to form hydrogen gas.
