Answer» Iodine is needed by the thyroid gland by the production of thyroxine hormone...This hormone regulates fat,,protein etc..This is in deficient quantity then the neck will swelling up due to enlargement of thyroid gland....?? Because it helps in the maintenance of thyroxine hormone which prevents us from goitre....... |
