Answer» Every electromagnetic radiation tends to move in a straight line unless an external force is applied to it.light travels in a straight line but it bends when it comes in contact with the astronomical objects. also light bends due to atmospheric refraction. but this bending is very small and we need very sharp and highly precise instruments to see this.
