Why magnesium ribon should be cleaned before burning in air ?? |

Answer» It forms a layer of magnesium oxide on its surface which often hinders the burning of magnesium thus it is rubbed with sandpaper to remove MgO. Bcoz it forms a layer of magnesium carbonate....while reacts with moisture...which prevent it to burn/react......therefore its to be cleaned....before burning.....? |
