Why positive charge is collected on cathode and negative charge is col

1.	Why positive charge is collected on cathode and negative charge is collected on anode ?
Answer» Bcoz unlike charges attract each other Because cathodis negative so positive charge attract on cathod and anode is positive so negative charge attract on anode because we know that opposite charges attract each other Because as we know that positive negative (unlike) charges attract each other. Same as for anode Cathod is negatively charged plate which attracts the positively charged particles as unlike charges attracts each other.
