Answer» The saturated designation means the carbon atom in compound have as many hydrogen are allow in them ...take the simplest hydrocorbon ,mithan :-it has one carbon and four hydrogen there is no atom remains to react with other elements ...where as unsaturated hydrocarbon makes double or triple bond and it has room to bond with others element ..that\'s why unsaturated is more reactive than saturated hydrocarbon
