Answer» Because they are highly reactive metal. And it is put in kerosine in order to not react with any substance Their ignition temprature is less than room temprature. Because it is highly reactive metal Na and k are highly reactive metal .They react with air and water vigrously and hence catch fire . Hope it helps you? |
