Answer» This is because of the way the molecules in water absorb the light.We know that sunlight is white and is made up of all the different colors of the spectrum.When the light falls on water, these molecules present in water absorbs light from the red end of the spectrum.By taking out the red it means that the light that gets reflected from the water is slightly blue (since blue colour has more dispersion, this colour will be left)The same thing happens even under artificial lighting, and the deeper the pool is, the bluer it will look.
