Answer» Because brass and copper are metals and acids react with metals to form hydrogen gas.which makes food poisonous Curd and sour substanses are acidic in nature. Acids react with brass and copper as they are metals and produce salts which is poisinous . Therefore curd and sour substances should not be kept in brass and copper vessels Curd and sour substances are acidic and acid reacts with brass and copper so they are not kept in brass and copper vessels |
