Will the current flows more easily through thick wire or thin wire. Give reason? |

Answer» Current flows more easily through the thick wire because in a thick wire the electrons get more space to flow and they will not hit more atoms nd the resistance will be less as compared to thin wire.Also resistance is inversely proportional to area of cross section,if area will increase then the resistance will decrease. In thick wire , because resistance is inversely proportional to area of cross section, or agar resistance kam hoga to current jada flow karega , because resistance is inversely proportional to current ? The current will flow more easily through the thick wire than the thin wire. It is because the resistance of a conductor is inversely proportional to its area of cross-section. If the thicker the wire, the less is resistance and hence more easily the current flows. |
