Answer» We all know that startup the app by double clicking here and app can configure the the dekstop \t/bin\xa0: All the executable binary programs (file) required during booting, repairing, files required to run into single-user-mode, and other important, basic commands\xa0viz.,\xa0cat,\xa0du,\xa0df,\xa0tar,\xa0rpm,\xa0wc,\xa0history, etc.\t/boot\xa0: Holds important files during\xa0boot-up process, including\xa0Linux Kernel.\t/dev\xa0: Contains device files for all the hardware devices on the machine e.g.,\xa0cdrom,\xa0cpu, etc\t/etc\xa0: Contains Application’s configuration files,\xa0startup,\xa0shutdown,\xa0start,\xa0stop\xa0script for every individual program.\t/home\xa0: Home directory of the users. Every time a new user is created, a directory in the name of user is created within home directory which contains other directories like\xa0Desktop,\xa0Downloads,\xa0Documents, etc.\t/lib\xa0: The Lib directory contains\xa0kernel modules\xa0and\xa0shared library\xa0images required to boot the system and run commands in root file system.\t/lost+found\xa0: This Directory is installed during installation of\xa0Linux, useful for recovering files which may be broken due to unexpected\xa0shut-down. |
