Write two difference between organic acid and mineral acids ,give one example of each one. |
| Answer» The main\xa0difference between mineral acid\xa0and\xa0organic acid is\xa0that\xa0mineral acids\xa0are\xa0inorganic\xa0compounds composed\xa0of different\xa0chemical element combinations whereas\xa0organic acids\xa0are\xa0organic\xa0compounds essentially composed\xa0of\xa0carbon and hydrogen atoms. For\xa0example, HCN has a carbon atom although it\xa0is\xa0an\xa0inorganic acid.\xa0Organic acids\xa0have carbon and hydrogen as constituents.\xa0Inorganic acids\xa0or\xa0mineral acids\xa0need not have carbon and hydrogen.\xa0example\xa0of\xa0organic acid- the sulfonic\xa0acids, of formula R-SO3H. | |
