The coordinates of origin is(0,0).The coordinates of the given point is (x,y) .Now, By applying distance formula, we get; Required distance of the given point from origin =√{(x-0)² +(y-0)²} =√(x²+y²) units Let point be p(x,y) and origin O(0,0).So, distance (PO)=√(0-x)^2+(0-y)^2 PO=√x^2+y^2. And. X+Y The coordinates of origin is (0,0) and the coordinates of given point is (x,y) .
