Different between matel and non matel |
Answer» Metal are hard and rigid, lustrous, ductile, highly mailable, high melting and boiling point whereas non metal are not METAL - a metal is a substance which form cation ( +ve ion ) by loosing electrons. It includes zinc, sodium, iron, calcium etc .... .. • they are good conductors of heat and electricity.• they are lustrous • they are generally hard but Na and K are soft • they form alloys like brass is an alloy of copper and zinc etc,. ........ ........ ... ......... . NON METAL - a non metal is a substance which form anion (- ve ions) by gaining electrons . It includes carbon, oxygen, sulphur, phosphorus, nitrogen............ • they are bad conductors of heat and electricity but graphite is a good conductor of electricity.• they are not lustrous .• they are generally soft but diamonds is hard etc 1. Metal has high electrostatic force that bind homo or hetro atoms together.but non metal has weak force .2. Metal react with sulphide but non metal not3. Metal has tendency to gain electron .while non metal has tendency to lose electron. |

Why planets are do not twinkle |
Answer» Planets\xa0don\'t\xa0twinkle because\xa0they are closer, and thus appear larger in our sky, as tiny disks instead of pinpoints.Because all the light is coming from a single point, its path is highly susceptible to atmospheric interference (i.e. their light is easily\xa0diffracted). Unlike stars, planets don\'t twinkle. Stars are so distant that they appear as pinpoints of light in the night sky, even when viewed through a telescope. Because all the light is coming from a single point, its path is highly susceptible to atmospheric interference |

Mystery of the BERMUDA TRIANGLE and write the three places between which it is formed |
Answer» Now will you please answer my question about POP 2:Gulf StreamThe Gulf Stream is a major surface current, primarily driven by thermohaline circulation that originates in the Gulf of Mexico and then flows through the Straits of Florida into the North Atlantic. In essence, it is a river within an ocean, and, like a river, it can and does carry floating objects. It has a maximum surface velocity of about 2 m/s (6.6 ft/s). A small plane making a water landing or a boat having engine trouble can be carried away from its reported position by the current. B)Natural explanations1:Compass variationsCompass problems are one of the cited phrases in many Triangle incidents. While some have theorized that unusual local magnetic anomalies may exist in the area, such anomalies have not been found. Compasses have natural magnetic variations in relation to the magnetic poles, a fact which navigators have known for centuries. Magnetic (compass) north and geographic (true) north are exactly the same only for a small number of places – for example, as of 2000, in the United States, only those places on a line running from Wisconsin to the Gulf of Mexico. But the public may not be as informed, and think there is something mysterious about a compass "changing" across an area as large as the Triangle, which it naturally will. Persons accepting the Bermuda Triangle as a real phenomenon have offered a number of explanatory approaches.A)Paranormal explanationsTriangle writers have used a number of supernatural concepts to explain the events. One explanation pins the blame on leftover technology from the mythical lost continent of Atlantis. Sometimes connected to the Atlantis story is the submerged rock formation known as the Bimini Road off the island of Bimini in the Bahamas, which is in the Triangle by some definitions. Followers of the purported psychic Edgar Cayce take his prediction that evidence of Atlantis would be found in 1968, as referring to the discovery of the Bimini Road. Believers describe the formation as a road, wall, or other structure, but the Bimini Road is of natural origin. Ya sure Thanks for answer but will u tell me the reason behind these activities?? The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil\'s Triangle, is a loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Most reputable sources dismiss the idea that there is any mystery. The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is amongst the most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world, with ships frequently crossing through it for ports in the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean islands. Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly sail through the region, and commercial and private aircraft routinely fly over it. |

How black holes are formed?? |
Answer» Ya, i like to mysteries ,i even want proof that ghost exists or not?? R u really intrested in these things i mean explaining the reason behind any mystery Black Holes are last stage of certain dying stars. A star with a mass greater than about 20 times the mass of our Sun(20 Solar Mass) may produce a black hole at the end of its life.A star’s life follows following trend:In the normal life of a star there is a constant tug of war between gravity pulling in and pressure pushing out. Nuclear reactions in the core of the star produce enough energy and pressure to push outward. For most of a star’s life, gravity and pressure balance each other exactly, and so the star is stable. However, when a star runs out of nuclear fuel, gravity gets the upper hand and the material in the core is compressed even further. The more massive the core of the star, the greater the force of gravity that compresses the material, collapsing it under its own weight. For small stars, when the nuclear fuel is exhausted and there are no more nuclear reactions to fight gravity, the repulsive forces among electrons within the star eventually create enough pressure to halt further gravitational collapse.Stars with the mass of our Sun pretty much stop there. Not massive enough to continue the fusion reaction, beyond oxygen, they become a white dwarf and cool down. But for stars with about 20 times the mass of our Sun, the fusion process continues further up the periodic table to silicon, aluminum, potassium, and so on, all the way to iron. No energy can be produced by fusing iron atoms together. It’s the stellar equivalent of ash.And so, in a fraction of a second, the radiation from the star turns off. Without that outward pressure from the radiation, gravity wins out and the star implodes. An entire star’s mass collapses down into a smaller and smaller volume of space. From the perspective of the collapsing star, the core compacts into a mathematical point with virtually zero volume, where it is said to have infinite density. This is called a singularity. And this is how you form a black hole. |

Write a short note on clor alkline process with diaghram |
Answer» It is also known as Solvay process Chlor alkali process is the process of electrolytic decomposition of brine which is also called aquous sodium chloride. In this process the products formed are--- a base sodium hydroxide ,chlorine gas and hydrogen gas. The name is due to the product formed ie chlorine and alkali called sodium hydroxideThe reaction is as follows ....2 Nacl+ 2H2O----->2NaOH+H2+Cl2 Chlor alkalie process is the electrolysis of 20% brine ( NaCl+ H2O) solution.during this process the products formed are Chlorine , NaOH ( an alkalie) and hydrogen.resction is.. 2NaCl+2H2O----->2NaOH+Cl2+H2. |

Doctors gives us injections in veins or arteries and why?? |
Answer» Since vlood is a connective tissue and it connects all the parts of body. So syringes contain medicines which ate needed to be transported to all parts of body or specific parts for which they are made to act. If not given in arteries or espically veins then it will be difficult for medicine to reach its targeted organ where it has to work and even for doctor. For eg syringes given for jaundice cannot be directly injected into liver because it may damage other parts but injecting in blood will be easier as it will be in passive in blood and will only become active in liver. So they are injected in arteries or veins If you still want answer then injections are given by doctors in veins and arteries so, that medicine present in injection would be mixed in our blood so, that we should be fit and fine Doctor inject syringe in nerves because it is directlh connnected by the body cell or organ in which organ utilise without digestion and relax rapidly Your question is incomplete |
