Give reason why atom is electrically neutral but still it has a tendency to from an ion |
|
Answer» An atom is electrically neutral due to the equal numbers of electrons and protons.Every atom tries to complete its octet (or duplet) to gain stability. Its tendency to lose and gain electrons enables it to form ions. Because number of electrons and protons are equal in number and both have opposite charges.????? |

What is the balanced chemical reaction |
| Answer» A balanced equation is an equation for a chemical reaction in which the number of atoms for each element in the reaction and the total charge are the same for both the reactants and the products. In other words, the mass and the charge are balanced on both sides of the reaction | |
| 67409. |

Why Does the colour of copper sulphate solutions change when iron nail dipped in it |
|
Answer» Because of displacement reaction Because Copper is displaced by iron. It is because iron is more reactive than copper and hence, iron displaces copper from its solution. Fe + CuSo4 ➡ FeSo4 + Cu |

Why should magnesium ribon is clean before burning in air |
|
Answer» To remove its oxide layer i.e.,magnesium oxide which prevent its from further corrosion and also from reacting When magnesium is exposed to open air then a top layer is converted into oxide or carbonate. Hence, It is cleaned before burning. |

How does traspiration help in upward transport of substances?? Reply me fast plz.. |
|
Answer» In actively growing plants, water evaporates continuously from the mesophyll cells of the leaf creating a negative pull. The lost water in the mesophyll is replaced by the absorption of water from the adjacent cells. Now water starts to pull through xylem vessels of leaves. Xylem vessels of leaves pulls water from xylem of stem which take water from Xylem of roots. Thus, water flow in a channel. This water channel is held together by cohesion force (force of attraction between water molecule). Adhesion (force of attraction between water molecules and walls of cells) and keeps the water column in the place. When water moves into the xylem, more soil water is drawn in the root. This inward movement will continue until the soil becomes excessive dry. For transpiration pull due to cohesion, adhesion and capillary action |

Energy from various sources is considered to have been derived from the sun . Enplain |
| Answer» Yes, I agree with the statement that\xa0energy from various sources is considered to have been derived from the Sun. Sun is the ultimate source of energy. All forms of energy are directly or indirectly derived from the solar energy.\tWind energy:\xa0Due to uneven heating of the Earth’s surface by the sun rays at two different adjoining places, a pressure difference is created and wind is produced.\tWave energy:\xa0Strong winds are generated due to the Sun and the waves are generated by strong winds blowing across the sea.\tOcean thermal energy:\xa0The difference between the water at the surface and the water at a depth in seas and oceans is due to the Sun.\tEnergy from fossil fuels:\xa0Fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum are formed when large plants and ancient creatures are buried deep inside the Earth’s crust under the effect of a lot of pressure and heat.\tSolar energy:\xa0The phenomenon of generation of electricity by light (photoelectric effect) is possible only in the presence of Sun.\tBiomass:\xa0Plants convert the solar energy into chemical energy with the help of inorganic substances such as air and water. These plants are consumed by the animals which produce wastes from which energy is obtained.\tEnergy from flowing water: Water from sea and rivers evaporate and fall at different places of the Earth in the form of snow and rainfall. This water is collected in a dam and when allowed to flow rotates the turbine of the generator and electricity is produced.\xa0 | |

What is difference between ammonotelic and uricotelic organisms? |
| Answer» Ammonotelism :(i) Excretory waste is ammonia (NH3).(ii) It is characteristic of aquatic animals such as protozoans, sponges, coelenterates, crustaceans, bony fishes andechinoderms etc.(iii) Excess of water is required to eliminate ammonia. It is highly toxic.(iv) Water loss is about 300-500 ml to remove one gram of ammonia.(v) Ammonia is formed in liver cells by the deamination of the amino acids.Uricotelism :1.Excretory waste is uric acid.2. It is characteristic of terrestrial reptiles and insects. All the birds are uricotelic.3.Much less water is needed. Uric acid is least toxic.4.Water loss is about 10 ml to excrete out one gram of uric acid.5.Uric acid is formed mainly from the purines in liver cells. In insects, uric acid is formed in malpighian tubules. | |

What is dylisis |
| Answer» Dialysis is primarily used to provide an artificial replacement for lost kidney function (renal replacement therapy) due to renal failure. Dialysis is the artificial process of eliminating waste (diffusion) and unwanted water (ultrafiltration) from the blood. In a healthy man, kidney does this process naturally. Some people may have damaged or failed kidneys which no longer filter toxins from the blood. They do purify their blood through dialysis. | |

What are isomerism |
|
Answer» The phenomenon in which the compound have same molecular formula bit different structure☺☺ There are three types of isomerism normal which is straight chain iso structure which is T shape and neo which is + shape Those compound which has same structural formula but different structure example butane has two isomerism normal butane and 2 methyl propane which is called as iso butane. And normal structure is in straight line and iso structure is in T shape Carbon compounds with same molecular formula but different structural formula ... The compounds having same molecular formula but having different structures are called isomer and this process is called isomerism. |

Answer» Alkynes are hydrocarbons which consists triple bond between the particles and also they are unsaturated. An unsaturated hydrocarbon in which two carbon atoms are connected by a triple bond Unsaturated hydrocarbons containing one triple bond......... \tThe group of unsaturated hydrocarbons with the general formula CnH2n-2 is known as alkynes.\tAlkynes contain at least one triple bond (one sigma bond and two pi-bonds) between two carbon atoms.\tThe first of the alkyne series is ethyne with the chemical formula, C2H2 (CH≡CH). Ethyne, also known as acetylene, is used for arc welding in combination with oxygen gas, which is known as oxy-acetylene flame.\tAlkynes have less number of hydrogen atoms than that of alkanes and alkenes.\xa0 |
