Why planet do not twinkle but star twinkle

Answer» Planets are very clase to the earth as compared to the stars. They also act as extended source of light. The total variation in the amount of light entering our eyes fromall the individual point sized sources will average out to zero, whoch nullify the twinkling effect of each other. So planet do not twinkle. But Stars twinkle due to atmospheric refraction of starlight passes through atmospheric medium of gradually changing refractive index. So, it is refracted multiple times. As the apparent position of star and the physical condition of the earth\'s atmosphere are not constant the amount of starlight entering the eyes flickers and gives a tiwinkling effect... Thank you????
Just in shortStar are very far away from earth so they seemed to be small as compared to planets thats why the doesnt seem to be twinkling..
Stars are very far from us and appears to be a point source of light. When light travels in the atmosphere, it is refracted by different amounts. When atmosphere refract more light star produce brightening effect and when it refracts less light, star produces dimming effect... This continues brightening and dimming effect make the stars to twinkle whereas planets r a collection of point sources of light and nearer to us. The dimming effect caused by one part is nullified by the brightening effect caused by another part. Thus the planets do not twinkle but star does.
But stars are point size , they have there own light and are so small
As planet are bigger then stars , they are not a point size source

What are diploid and haploid

Answer» Haploid: Haploid cells contain only one set of Chromosomes (n) . Haploid cells are formed by the process of meiosis . In higher organism, such as humans, haploid cells are only used for *** cells . Examples of haploid cells are gametes (male or female germ cells).Diploid: Diploid, as the name indicates, contains 2 sets of chromosomes (2n) . Diploid cells undergo mitosis . In higher organism, such as humans, all other cells beside *** cells are diploid Examples of diploid cells include blood cells, skin cells and muscle cells. These cells are known as somatic cells.
