Why is decomposition of vegetable considerd as exothermic reaction?

Answer» The decomposition of vegetable matter into compost in an exothermic reaction because microbes need energy to break the bond of vegetable that\'s why it produces heat energy hence this decomposition reaction is a exothermic reaction.
The decomposition of all that are biodegradable are decompose by microbes or bacteria .These all reaction bacteria or microbes help in break down of all biodegradable things. So,this is exothermic reaction
The decomposition of vegetable into compost is an example of exothermic reaction. The decomposition of vegetable matter into useful compost is carried out by microbes. These reactions involve break down of bonds. The overall reaction is exothermic.

difference between opening and closing stomatal event with proper points

Answer» Opening of stomata: Solutes from neighbouring epidermal and mesophyll cells enter the guard cells lowering its osmotic potential and water potential. This lowered water potential and osmotic potential will allow movement of water into guard cells from neighbouring cells. Guard cells become turgid due to water accumulation in them which results in the opening of the guard cells. Closing of stomata: As the somata open the solute concentration is reduced. This makes the water from the guard cells to move away into neighbouring cells. Now, guard cells becom flaccid with no water. They collapse against each other and result in the closing of stomata.
Each stoma is surrounded by two guard cells. The guards are of kidney shaped and contain chloroplasts. There is a respiratory chamber present in each stoma. The mechanism of the closing and opening of the stomata depends upon the presence of sugar and starch present in the guard cells. In the presence of light, the guard cells of the stomata contain sugar which is synthesized by their chloroplasts. The sugar is soluble and increases the concentration of guard cells. Due to higher concentration of the cytoplasm of guard cells, the water enters into these cells from the neighbouring cells by osmosis. Hence the stomata remains open.in the absence of light the sugar present in guard cells converts into the starch. The starch is insoluble, and this way the guard cells remains in lower concentration than the of neighbouring cells, and the neighbouring cells take out the water from the guard cells by osmosis making them flaccid and the stomata closed.

How citizenship rules made in Estonia affected people belonging to Russian minority?

Answer» In January 2017, the United States deployed Special Forces to Estonia as part of an ongoing presence of U.S. and other North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops aimed at ensuring security in the Baltic region. Following the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, separatist conflicts in eastern Ukraine, an increase in Russian military activities in the Baltic Sea region, and ongoing allegations of Russian meddling in elections in Europe and the United States, tensions between Russia and its neighbors have attracted growing international attention. In recent years, the United States has increased its investment and interest in Estonia, working to shield the tiny country and its 1.3 million residents from potential Russian incursions.Estonia’s emergence as a key player in this context is unique and multidimensional, in part due to its large Russian-speaking population and citizenship policy. The first of the former Soviet republics to enter membership talks with the European Union, Estonia has been an EU and NATO member since 2004. Following independence in 1991, Estonia sought to restore the country to its pre-Soviet identity by reverting to its earlier citizenship policy, viewing the Soviet era as a period of illegal occupation. This policy rollback had a significant effect on Russian speakers, a multiethnic linguistic community that comprises 30 percent of the country’s population and is chiefly made up of Soviet-era migrants and their descendants. Russian speakers are often defined as muulased (non-Estonians, aliens, or foreigners), a term also used in a derogatory sense by some Estonians. Most were not entitled to Estonian citizenship following independence, and while the majority has acquired some form of legal residency, a number remain stateless (officially classified as having undetermined or undefined citizenship by the Estonian state and census), causing divisions within the country and with its much larger neighbor. While Estonia earns praise and criticism alike for its citizenship policy at home, militarization and tensions continue to wax and wane between the United States, Estonia, NATO, and Russia. In light of recent geopolitical developments, scholars, policy experts, and journalists are increasing their interest in and coverage of Estonia, often with a keen emphasis on Estonia’s citizenship policy and Russian-speaking population. Building upon recent research, including mixed-methods fieldwork by the author, this article examines Estonia’s citizenship policy, its impacts on Russian-speaking residents, and implications for ongoing regional events.

what is the difference between efflorescence and hydroscopic and deliquescent

Answer» Hygroscopic and deliquescent materials are both able to absorb moisture from the air. However, hygroscopy and deliquescence don\'t mean precisely the same thing: Hygroscopic materials absorb moisture, while deliquescent materials absorb moisture to the extent that the substance dissolves in water.
Deliquescent substances - certain solid substances, when exposed to air absorb water, enough to form solutions. Example, solid NaOH, CaCl2, CaCl2. 6H2O, P4O10 (forms HPO3), FeCl3, KOH, MgCl2. Hygroscopic Substances - substances absorb water from air, but not enough to form solutions. Examples of such substances include CaO, NaNO3, NaCl, Sucrose and CuO. Also, certain liquid substances absorb water from the air to get diluted - these are also regarded as being hygroscopic. Example, conc. H2SO4 and conc. HCl. lf a hydroscopic substance absorbs so much moisture that an aqueous solution is formed, the substance becomes deliquescent.

Difference between Focus and principle Focus

Answer» Principal focus is a point on the principal axis where the rays which are incident parallel to the principal axis meet after reflection. Principal focus is a point on focal plane and is located on the principal axis.Focus is a point where rays parallel to each other meet. It is not necessary for the rays to be parallel to the principal axis. These are infinite foci, all lying in a plane called focal plane.

How do amoeba obtaine its food

Answer» https://youtu.be/1xKSSckSA0Q
Amoeba obtain its food by the process of PHAGOCYTOSIS
Amoeba takes in food using temporary finger-like extensions of the cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food-vacuole. Inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into the cytoplasm. The remaining undigested material is moved to the surface of the cell and thrown out. The complete phagocytosis process includes intake, digestion , absorption, assimilation, and egestion process.

Difference between reflection and

Answer» Tq??
ReflectionRefractionThis phenomenon usually occurs in mirrors. This phenomenon usually occurs in Lenses.Reflection can simply be defined as the reflection of light when it strikes the medium on a plane.Refraction can be defined as the process of shift of light when it passes through a medium leading to the bending of light. The light entering the medium returns back in the same direction. The light entering the medium travels from one medium to another.Considering the light waves, they bounce from the plane and change direction. The light waves pass through the surface while simultaneously change from medium to medium. The angle of incidence of the light is equal to the angle of reflection. The angle of incidence is not equal to the angle of reflection.
The phenomenon of bouncing back of light rays, to that particular medium itself on experiencing a different medium is known as reflection. As against the bending of the light ray to a different medium on striking the boundary of a different surface is termed as refraction.

Give reason why carbon dioxide turns lime water milky

Answer» When CO2 passes through lime water, it turns into milky lime water due to formation of insoluble calcium carbonate. Ca(OH)2+CO2⇌CaCO3(+)+H2OIOf CO2 is passed for longer period, turbidity disappears due to form of soluble calcium bicarbonate.CaCO3+H2O+CO2⇌Ca(HCO3)2 .
The reaction between limewater, which is a solution of calcium hydroxide, Ca(OH)2 , and carbon dioxide will result in the formation of an insoluble solid called calcium carbonate, CaCO3 . The solution will turn milky due to the fact that calcium carbonate is a white precipitate.

What is the advantage of olfactory indicator over normal indicator

Answer» Advantage of olfactory indicators over universal indicators is that olfactory indicators also helps us to guess the substance with their smell that whether it is acidic or basic.... but this property is not shared by universal indicated.... as they help us to judge only with change in color and not with smell
The advantage of the universal indicator is that it displays a variety of colors over the whole pH scale. This makes it possible to determine an approximate pH of a solution over a range from 1-14. whereas, A commonly used acid-base indicator is litmus.
