Solve : Activation Issue?

Yesterday I reinstalled Win 8. Twice I've had a message asking me to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/activate-848037" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ACTIVATE">ACTIVATE</a> Win 8. I typed in the Product Key from the card, which came with the discs, only to be told I'd entered the wrong product key or words to that effect.
