Solve : Bbdaniha.exe? |
Answer»

Almost everyday I have a problem shutting down my computer because of this Bbdaniha executable. Instead of shutting down normally, Bbdaniha has a problem and I always have to click the "end now" button.

This executable resides in my C:\windows\system32 directory, and BBDANIHA.EXE-0AAC6A4D.pf is in my C:\windows\prefetch directory.

I have no idea what this stuff is!? I've searched in Google, MICROSOFT, etc. Any ideas??right click on this file...properties...does it tell you anything....Just that the type of file is an Application. The BBDANIHA.EXE-0AAC6A4D.pf says that it opens with "Unknown Application"if the file in question does not ring any bells ....that you have downloaded or loaded via a cdrom is odds on that this maybe a trojan run this ><a href="<klux>HTTP</klux>://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/">http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/Scan for viruses, spyware and trojans.I've run antivirus software & spyware software. Doesn't appear to be a virus or spyware.

Could it be a lost executable that wasn't properly uninstalled during a software UNINSTALL?type regedit in the run box then type the file name in the search windows of the reg editor under view option....is it listed as an application or program...The search didn't find anything in the regedit.type msconfig in the run box and in the start up folder disable it..are there any listings in your add/remove programs? about it >if you not SURE about the exe..delete it..i dont think its belongs to windows? Can you not simply remove it? Files in your prefetch folder can be safely removed. Emptying your prefetch folder on a regular basis prevents that folder from taking up too MUCH diskspace. There's nothing in the startup folder (under msconfig) and there's no listings in the add/remove programs.

I'll try removing it from the prefetch folder (what is a prefetch folder?). And I'm sure I can move the .exe file.windows uses prefetch to speed booting times....leave the exe in there ...if after 3 days has passed windows will dump it...Thanks, I'll give it a try!!

| |
