Solve : Boot and Restore DVD for Vista??

Answer» <html><body><p>I hate to admit this, but I come from the <em>old school of computers </em> when you always got a restore/boot disk when you got a machine.  I <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/recently-620395" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about RECENTLY">RECENTLY</a> got a <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/new-1114486" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NEW">NEW</a> machine, and have not succeeded yet in making either a boot dvd or a total restore dvd for the OS (Vista Ultimate).    After trying unsuccessfully to do this, just wanted to know if there is an especially good, step-by-step, article, post, or sticky that would walk me through both creating a boot dvd and a restore dvd?<br/>All advice is most appreciated.<br/>There you are.<br/><a href="https://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/#comment-125249">http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/#comment-125249</a>flipflopjd DVD will let you access Recovery partition, but you still should have Recovery disks for your particular machine.<br/>You should be able to create them, using your computer, or, if it doesn't work (like it <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/happened-482146" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about HAPPENED">HAPPENED</a> with my Compaq), your computer maker, should send you a set, free of charge.Whose machine is this ? ?<br/>They should have instructions at their website...Thanks for all the suggestions.<br/><br/>This is a generic, no-name brand.  Name brand components but not a particular <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/make-249948" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MAKE">MAKE</a>.
