Solve : Can't find my backup copy of Vista OS?

Answer» <html><body><p>HP a6300f with Windows Vista Home Premium, IE 7<br/><br/>I bought a new computer a few months ago.  A geek friend set it up for me, and I <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/remember-621937" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about REMEMBER">REMEMBER</a> him giving me a cd (dvd?) telling me to keep it safe place because it’s a copy of my operating system (<a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/start-239994" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about START">START</a> up), and I remember labeling it.  Well, I don’t need it now, but some day I might – and after <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/searching-1197083" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SEARCHING">SEARCHING</a> I can’t find it.<br/><br/>I called him and he said to search again, then if I can’t find it, I can call Microsoft and they will send me another for $35.  But, I heard that I have to give product key code (25 digits), which is different from product <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/id-251286" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ID">ID</a>.  I don’t <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/know-534065" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about KNOW">KNOW</a> where to find this key code and I want to have it before I call them.<br/><a href="http://magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/">http://magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/</a>Thanks, broni  It shouldn't cost $35.00.<br/>The only charge should be shipping and handling.<br/>Are you sure you talked to MS ? ?</p></body></html>
