Solve : Can't install this device? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I have a firewire audio <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/interface-11652" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INTERFACE">INTERFACE</a> that I'm trying to install on my laptop. I insert the driver disk, it walks me through the pre-installation, then asks me to turn on the device. When I turn on the unit, Almighty windows takes over and the add hardware wizard fires up and automatically decides this is a Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller and installs the thing as a 1394 NETWORK ADAPTER.<br/><br/>Now, I've <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/installed-499454" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INSTALLED">INSTALLED</a> this thing before on the same PC using the same drivers and same OS. I've updated all of my PC's drivers and downloaded the latest interface drivers as <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/well-734398" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WELL">WELL</a> and get the same result. <br/><br/>Is my interface malfunctioning or is Windows going senile??? Either way, it's rather <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/irritating-519629" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about IRRITATING">IRRITATING</a>. Anyone else ever had this issue with a firewire device?<br/><br/>BTW - The vendor of the interface won't even talk to me or reply to support <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/tickets-709672" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TICKETS">TICKETS</a>.</p></body></html> | |
