Solve : Certain programs have lower resolution? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I've been holding out on upgrading to 8.1 since the last <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/time-19467" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TIME">TIME</a> I tried it, it messed up my screen resolution and sound quality even though all settings were the same. I reverted back to regular 8, but today my computer upgraded to 8.1 without any option to stop it. To my surprise, things didn't look low resolution like they did before...until I opened Steam (and other programs). Steam (and the other programs) looks like it's running at 1024x768 even though my resolution is 1920x1080. What is the freaking deal with 8.1? Jesus...I'm about <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/ready-620053" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about READY">READY</a> to factory reset my computer AGAIN.<br/><br/>EDIT: I just updated my graphics driver and it didn't fix things. It just made Steam behave very strangely.Where are the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/drivers-21170" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DRIVERS">DRIVERS</a> from ? ?NVIDIA GeForce. They should come from the card manuf. site...<br/>I've <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/seen-1199302" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SEEN">SEEN</a> this way too many times. You also may <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/want-1448756" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WANT">WANT</a> to uninstall/install again. Steam in particular is very graphics oriented, so it could be auto-configured to use the previous driver, despite updating. I'd try that just because it'll clean up any cache'd data.</p></body></html> | |
