Solve : Computer log?

Its an Athlon64 3.0Ghz computer running on WIndows 2000. It has 1gig memory and a GeForce 6600GT videocard. It is only during ArcView use that it crashes. We suspect that it has something to do with its videocard. My questoin is, is there a logfile in windows that <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/logs-1077946" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about LOGS">LOGS</a> what has happened and the reason why it happened? And is really the videocard that is at fault?<br/><br/><br/>Thanks in advance!
