Solve : "Do Not Have Permission" To Write?

Answer» <html><body><p>A Vista <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/user-25565" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about USER">USER</a>, I receive a message that I "do not have permission" to write files to a folder. It is a temp folder. I am the administrator of the computer -- I sign in with a password, etc. -- and I am the only user of the computer. Yet I do not see where I can "give myself" the needed permission. I will not <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/bother-401181" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about BOTHER">BOTHER</a> asking why the administrator would <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/need-25476" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NEED">NEED</a> permission, nor why I would need <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/anyone-380251" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ANYONE">ANYONE</a>'s permission to use my own computer. Anyone have an idea on how I can rid myself of this <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/nonsense-580746" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NONSENSE">NONSENSE</a> (other than buying a Mac)? Thanks in advance. In Vista, real administrator folder is hidden, so it won't get messed up by a user.<br/>What you use is semi-administrator account.<br/>Try to take ownership of troubling folder:<br/><a href="http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13157">http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13157</a><br/><a href="http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/25/how-to-take-ownership-and-grant-permissions-in-windows-vista/">http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/25/how-to-take-ownership-and-grant-permissions-in-windows-vista/</a>A most helpful reply, thanks!Did it work?</p></body></html>
