Skill India

Skill India program was launched by the government of India. It was launched under the leadership of the prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi in 2015. Its main objective is to create job opportunities and space for the development of the talent of Indian youth. And to develop more of these sectors which have already been put under skill development for the last so many years. And also to identify new sectors for skill development. This programme aims at providing training and skill development to 500 million youth of India by 2020. It would cover each and every village.

Some of the important features of SKILL INDIA program are :

• To make the youth skilled in such a way so that they get employment.
• To improve entrepreneurship.
• To provide training, support and guidance for all traditional type of occupations as-carpenters, cobblers, welders, blacksmiths, masons, nurses, tailors, weavers, etc.

More emphasis will be given on new areas like real estate, construction, transportation, textile, gem industry, jewellery designing, banking, tourism, etc.

The best part of the Skill India program is that the training program would be on the lines of international level. Due to this the youth of our country cannot only meet the domestic demands but also of other countries.

स्किल इंडिया स्किल

इंडिया कार्यक्रम भारत सरकार द्वारा आरम्भ किया गया था। इसे सन 2015 में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में आरम्भ किया गया था। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य प्रतिभाशाली भारतीय युवाओं के विकास के लिये नौकरी/कार्य के अवसरों का सृजन करना है और उन क्षेत्रों का और अधिक विकास करना है जो पहले से ही वर्षों से कौशल विकास (skill development) हेतु चिन्हित हैं। और कौशल विकास हेतु नये क्षेत्रों की पहचान करना भी इसके उद्देश्य में शामिल है। इस कार्यक्रम (मिशन/अभियान) का लक्ष्य है सन् 2020 तक भारत के पचास करोड़ युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना व उनका कौशल विकास करना। इस अभियान में प्रत्येक गाँव को शामिल किया जायेगा।

स्किल इंडिया कार्यक्रम की कुछ मुख्य विशेषताएँ हैं-

• युवाओं के कौशल को इस प्रकार विकास करना जिससे कि उन्हें रोजगार प्राप्त हो सके।
• उद्यमशीलता में सुधार लाना।
• परम्परागत प्रकार के लगभग सभी व्यवसायों में प्रशिक्षण, सहायता व मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करना जैसे- बढ़ई, मोची का कार्य, बैल्डिंग, लोहार का कार्य, राजमिस्त्री, नर्स, दर्जी, जुलाहे का कार्य आदि।

नवीन क्षेत्रों पर और अधिक जोर दिया जायेगा जैसे-जमीन जायदाद सम्बन्धी कार्य, निर्माण कार्य, परिवहन, वस्त्र उद्योग, रत्न उद्योग, आभूषण डिजाइनिंग, बैंकिंग, पर्यटन, आदि।

स्किल इंडिया प्रोग्राम (अभियान) की सबसे अच्छी बात है कि इसके अन्तर्गत दिया जाने वाला प्रशिक्षण अन्तरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का होगा। इस कारण हमारे देश के युवा न सिर्फ घरेलू (भारतीय) माँग (कौशल की) को पूरा कर सकेंगे बल्कि अन्य देशों में भी कार्य करने में कुशल होंगे।
