Indiscipline among Students

The problem of indiscipline among students has become a cause of great concern to our academicians, leaders and the people at large. Students indulge in throwing stones, torching buses, destroying public property, teasing girls and beating teachers.

There are many cause of indiscipline. The most important one is the political cause. Political parties use students to further their interests. Our education does not suit many of the students. They see no future after completing their studies. Our curricula lack variety.

Moreover, films, T.V. serials and other media paint a picture of a society that is full of violence and indiscipline. The immature students try to copy the values shown on the screen.

Here are some suggestions. First, politics in every form must be kept out of schools and colleges. Students’ unions should not be allowed to take the form of political parties. They must work only as literary organisations. Only first class persons must be appointed as teachers. It is in the interest of everyone to help in solving this problem.

छात्रों में अनुशासनहीनता

छात्रों के बीच अनुशासनहीनता की समस्या ने हमारे शिक्षा-शास्त्रियों, नेताओं तथा जनसामान्य को चिन्तित कर दिया है। छात्र पत्थर फेंकने, बसें जलाने, सार्वजनिक सम्पत्ति को नुकसान पहुँचाने, लड़कियों को छेड़ने तथा अध्यापकों के साथ मारपीट करने जैसे दुष्कार्यों में सम्मिलित होते हैं।

अनुशासनहीनता के कई कारण हैं। सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण कारण है राजनीति । राजनैतिक दल अपने हितों को आगे बढ़ाने हेतु छात्रों का उपयोग करते हैं। | हमारी शिक्षा कई छात्रों के लिए उपयुक्त नहीं है। वे अपना अध्ययन पूरा करने के बाद कोई भविष्य नहीं देखते। हमारी शैक्षणिक सामग्री में विविधता का अभाव है।

फिल्में, टी.वी. सीरियल एवं अन्य माध्यम एक ऐसे समाज का चित्रण करते हैं जिसमें हिंसा एवं अनुशासनहीनता का बोलबाला होता है। अपरिपक्व छात्र पर्दे पर दिखाये गये जीवन-मूल्यों की नकल करने का प्रयास करते हैं।

यहाँ कुछ सुझाव हैं। प्रथमतः राजनीति को किसी रूप में स्कूलों एवं कॉलेजों से दूर रखा जाना चाहिए। छात्र-संघों को राजनैतिक दलों का रूप नहीं लेने दिया जाना चाहिए। वे केवल साहित्यिक संगठन बने रह सकते हैं। केवल प्रथम श्रेणी के लोग ही अध्यापक के रूप में नियुक्त किये जाने चाहिए। | यह सभी के हित में है कि इस समस्या के समाधान में परस्पर सहयोग हो।।
