Solve : Freezing cursor on laptop ASUS X55A?

Answer»

It just froze on me again. What does JAVASCRIPT void mean?what does javascript void mean? COULD that be causing the freezingAlso the usb mouse doesnt make a difference when the cursor on touchpad freezes. Nothing works!!!!SINCE you have no idea whether you will have a functioning mouse...or not...and there is data you want from it i suggest using an external laptop drive enclosure to retrieve your data...
See if someone you know has one...if not a decent one is about 35 Bucks.
You want one with an A/C power adapter as USB can be flakey at times for power.
Then you simply remove the HDD...again find someone who knows how...insert it in the enclosure...then HOOK it up to a working desktop and copy/save all your data...

Then replace the HDD in the laptop and turn it in for a Warranty claim.

At this point it would accomplish nothing to reformat it as you don't know if the hardware will work properly or not.my friend advised me to reformat the laptop but im not sure. Im not sure what messed up registered keys mean either as I got told that could b the problem or my laptop is corrupted!!! So confused right now!! My driver is already updated. I will have to take it back or pay to have it fixed as I cant put up with this freezing cursor for much longer. Was hoping I'd b able to fix it myself but obviously notPlease re-read my Post...
A Format will accomplish nothing...zero ...nada...
Use the advice above to get your data...then take advantage of the warranty...
Can't say it any more directly.see I've got a few people telling me different things, dont know what to do!!! Think I will take it back and if they cant do it then will have to pay to get it doneOr you could follow the steps i outlined above...and stop listening to them...then have ALL your data backed up and have the PC turned in for warranty...
And not pay a dime...
You're CHOICE now.Quote from: donnawatkins07 on February 19, 2014, 02:37:09 PM

Hello, I need some assistance if anyone can help me please,
I have a ASUS X55A laptop, and the cursor keeps freezing on the screen!!! I've done scans and no threats have been found, dont know what else to do!!!
