Solve : jumping cursor? |
Answer» <html><body><p>Hope somebody can help. Have new laptop, Windows Vista. Whenever I try to type something, the cursor jumps ahead, or behind, what I'm typing. Sometimes it jumps paragraphs or sentences. It's very frustrating to be typing, look up and see jibberish where a word should be. I'll go to correct it only to have the cursor move again to someplace else. Has anyone ever had this <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/problem-25530" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PROBLEM">PROBLEM</a>?My <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/guess-1013936" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GUESS">GUESS</a> is that you're <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/accidentally-7272512" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ACCIDENTALLY">ACCIDENTALLY</a> hitting the mouse <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/touchpad-1423987" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TOUCHPAD">TOUCHPAD</a> on the laptop while you type, I've done it a lot of times myself.<br/>If you use the touchpad you will just have to train yourself not to hit it. But if you don't use touchpad you can probably disable it.<br/>Look for a control panel for the touchpad in the notification area on the taskbar (next to the clock).<br/>If you got one you should be able to disable it in the control panel. Thanks, I don't use the pad, I use a mouse, but it's worth a try. <br/>Thanks</p></body></html> | |
