Solve : Lenovo, Black screen with cursor? |
Answer» <html><body><p>Lenovo B50-30<br/><br/>Hello,<br/><br/>When I boot my laptop everything seems to be working.<br/>As soon as I enter my password and login to my windows account I get a black screen with nothing but a cursor.<br/>I am able to Ctrl-alt-delete, but the task manager wont open.<br/>The laptop ignores F1, F8 and F12. So I cant Boot in Safe mode or enter the BIOS<br/><br/>I have <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/error-25548" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ERROR">ERROR</a> checked the HDD with my desktop and everything seemed fine.<br/>But it wasn't, the error check didn't solve anything.<br/><br/>Is there anyone who <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/knows-1064865" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about KNOWS">KNOWS</a> what might be wrong with my laptop, and if it's repairable?<br/><br/>- Mathieu<br/>You said you removed the HDD.<br/>With no HDD, the laptop should <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/go-468886" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GO">GO</a> to the setup screen of the BIOS.<br/>Thee you can set boot <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/options-238333" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about OPTIONS">OPTIONS</a>. Set it to boot first from USB or <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/cd-236847" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CD">CD</a>.<br/>With your other PC prepare a boot CD or USB with some diagnostics.<br/><br/>Boot diagnostics can be found elsewhere.<br/>For your laptop, this might work:<br/><a href="https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovodiagnosticsolutions/tools/bootablediags">Lenovo Bootable Diagnostics</a><br/><br/>Does that work for you? <br/><br/><br/></p></body></html> | |
