Solve : lost data after system recovery?

Answer» <html><body><p>hello,<br/><br/>I did a system reset or <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/recovery-13760" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about RECOVERY">RECOVERY</a> with <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/vista-728089" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about VISTA">VISTA</a> ( I have a compaq 610). I have 2 drives, C and D.<br/><br/>Without thinking that it would be new formatted etc , I did not make a back-up of my pictures and docs ( I know ....)<br/><br/>howver I made a back up a couple of weeks ago thru the HP software on D.<br/><br/>If I now look at d it say 2gb of 10 free. Which means that their should be <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/data-25577" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DATA">DATA</a> on.... But when I click on it I see nothing.<br/><br/>would anyone know how I can see that data and what is on the D drive?<br/><br/>thanks<br/>chrisThe D: drive probably doesn't contain any backups. It contains a recovery partition.<br/><br/>The "<a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/backup-18158" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about BACKUP">BACKUP</a>" <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/procedure-606526" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PROCEDURE">PROCEDURE</a> you ran through, assuming you didn't burn any discs during the process, likely just backed up your data somewhere on the C: drive, not onto D: (since there would not be room).<br/><br/></p></body></html>
