Solve : Missing IMAPI.exe and DLL?

Answer» <html><body><p>I am missing IMAPI.exe and DLLs. I am trying to burn a CD with WMP. It says connect a burner in WMP. My Windows is a slimmed down version my friend made me a few years ago, of my copy of Windows XP. I have lost my original copy of Win XP i only have the slimmed down CD my friend made me. I dont know why he took out this service. but he did put in, imapi2.dll and imapi2fs.dll and imapi.sys. I dont see IMAPI service running in the services.msci also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives, i have <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/2-236987" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 2">2</a> and both are not shownTravel to Control Panel and check any devices with a yellow ? or !...<br/><br/>DLoad and reinstall those device drivers and re-boot.<br/><br/>NOTE: Don't rely on Windows Update to do so...get them from the manuf. Support site...I am missing a driver for "PCI input device" but i know what that is. my problem is i dont have IMAPI.exe on my PC at all. I am using win XP.
