I had a friend come and look at the computer and it turns out I did get a virus. He should have it in a day or so. Thanks again..........LizFor future reference

McAfee comes with a Virus Scan Boot Disk, which allows you to scan for viruses from one single floppy disk (Symantec requires more than one disk).
When you get your computer up and running, create a boot disk by clicking START, PROGRAMS, McAFEE, and Create Rescue Disk.
Follow the simple step by step instructions.
If your computer does not start, just put the disk in while you power it on, and all should be well.
Let us know how the story ends.....

| |
