Solve : new files have older files? |
Answer»

Hi, when I download a movie using utorrent, if I check the contents of the file being downloaded when I have part of it (say 10%), it PLAYS an already deleted file. I tried with the preallocate SPACE option but on of off there is no difference. I'm using NTFS, windows XP. I'm very curious about why this is happening now, it's never happened before. I suppose the file system takes the space marked as available ( the deleted file) and uses it for the new file. But this only happens after I reinstalled XP a year ago.
Is there anything else I don't know about ntfs to explain this "new" behavior?

thank you.Things we wpn't assist with :

Quote

Copyrighted MATERIAL

* Downloading or using a program (e.g. torrent / P2P program) to download a copyrighted software program, game, movie, song, TV show, book, or any other content protected by copyright laws.
* Finding places on the Internet to watch movies or TV shows or listen to copyrighted music.
* Making backups of copyrighted DVDs.
* Help users use copyrighted material in their own video, song, and/or website.
* Posting any copyrighted material, even if it's being used for helping others.
This will come as a shock to you but there are legal uses for P2P, as well as legal content under GPL license.
