Solve : Puzzled over Disc drive on laptop.?

Answer» <html><body><p>Hi all!!<br/>          I'm the proud new owner of an MSI GT70 2QD DOMINATOR.<br/>But I'm afraid that's about all I know, I fear I've bit off more than I can <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/chew-3578112" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CHEW">CHEW</a>! <br/><br/>I bought it primarily for gaming and specifically to allow me to game whilst at work-at sea.<br/><br/>Unfortunately it just seems to devour whichever game discs I feed it and they are <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/never-570518" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NEVER">NEVER</a> to be seen again.<br/><br/>There is no reaction from the drive other than a few whines,a few whizzes----------then silence,the game has ceased to be!<br/><br/>It is <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/nowhere-581876" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NOWHERE">NOWHERE</a> to be found and only traces of programmes exist on files.<br/><br/>There doesn't seem to be a problem with <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/downloading-959080" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DOWNLOADING">DOWNLOADING</a> games from Steam and then running them but the disc drive just doesn't seem to want to play,does it need working on or is it knackered?<br/><br/>It's important that I can use the drive because where I need to take the laptop there is no internet.<br/><br/>Please help me as there appears to be smoke coming out of my ears! Is it a brand new device, and are these factory-pressed <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/disks-769504" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DISKS">DISKS</a>?<br/>Sounds like CD/DVD is not autorunning.</p></body></html>
