Solve : Registry failure...?

Fitted the HDD with win2k as a slave and now I can access all the files from it.<br/><br/>I believe, there is always a backup of the registry file and not sure where to find it. Please help me to restore the registry, so that I can start my pc using the win2k operating system. I've checked both HDD by scandisk and no bad sector was found.<br/><br/>My pc is P4 2.8ghz HT, nvidia <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/fx5200" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FX5200">FX5200</a> AGP, 768MB ram. I'll go through them and post the steps done and results.<br/><br/>jawanda56 Cool Sorry, I kept you waiting... <br/><br/>Studied the articles suggested by Broni. <br/>I'd win2k CD, which is not bootable. As per the procedure written in the instructions for set up, made 4 setup disk <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/floppies-7303546" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FLOPPIES">FLOPPIES</a>. Booted the pc on these floppies to start the win2k set up process. Selected the repair option. <br/><br/>Now my win2k operating system is starting normal. Everything in the PC is as before.
