Answer» <html><body><p>I have a Dell with Windows 2000 <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/os-25550" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about OS">OS</a>. Lately, my screen will go 95% dark as if it is going into hybernation, but when I try to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/revive-2992622" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about REVIVE">REVIVE</a> it, it stays dark. Now, the screen stays about 95% dark even on start up. What could be wrong and how do I fix the problem?Which <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/model-942" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MODEL">MODEL</a> did you say this was? And how old? And what BIOS <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/revision-623142" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about REVISION">REVISION</a> (on the boot up screen)?<br/><br/>Without info we are just guessing. Cinead:<br/><br/>Have you <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/tried-7272297" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TRIED">TRIED</a> to adjust the brightness and contrast on the monitor? There should be a button to press that allows you to choose either option.<br/><br/>DocCan you play "monitor musical chairs" with another computer?<br/><br/>Tip: I've sometimes found that backing off the resolution and colours will sometimes help this problem.</p></body></html> | |
