1.	Solve : 3-inch black band to the left of display on my HP 2159m LCD monitor?
Answer» I downloaded the DRIVER for this monitor but no clue where to make adjustments so the screen display fills the entire screen edge to edge instead of that 3 inches of black to the left. Windows 7, NO IDEA about the other details you ask for. The highest resolution AVAILABLE in my screen options is 1024 x 768 but recommended resolution for this monitor says it should be 1920 x 1080. The hertz matches (60) and it is on 32 bit true setting. Help?? Is this monitor new? Under warranty? You mean the monitor driver, not the GPU driver. May I suggest you remove the monitor drive completely. Then reboot and let Windows install a generic driver for the monitor.
