Answer» 1. My comp will not shut down... when i hit the shut down button it goes to a screen saying that it's shutting down winsupdater.exe, then says its not responding so i hit END NOW, and after that nothing happens.
2. Ctrl+Alt+Delete does nothing, i want it to take me to Task Manager but it doesnt.
3. A couple programs will not open on my comp, as soon as i CLICK on them they'll open for a sec then just close, i dont understand it. Please Help.

Turn off System Restore if applicable. (ME & XP USERS)
Run Ccleaner Run Ad-Aware Run Spybot Run Microsoft Antispyware Run AVG Free Run Ewido
Re-start in Safe Mode Re-run AVG Free
Re-start in Normal Mode Turn on System Restore if applicable. (ME & XP users)
Have fun Fajackta........ If you haven't already got it shutdown ....pull the plug ..........Then restart , make sure you have DISCONNECTED from the internet and run the scans which Fed has mentioned .
dl65 yeah my brothers computer had the exact same problem. i used hijack this and deleted the registry and then deleted the file. it was called services32.exe. can't remeber where it was though.

i think you mean a part from the registry, otherwise you computer won't work ANYMORE that good, or better, won't work
