Answer» Hello ihave some problem. My computer brokedown and icould not get into windows (xp) one day so i runed the recover cd. And when i did that i INSTALLED anti virus and all that and then iwas installing a game this is where the problem is when ipress play ilittle SQUARE comes up and it says (Direct3D could not be correctly initialized. Somethimes this will be fixed by rebooting your machine. If it still occurs after a fresh reboot, you may need to reinstall DirectX) so after itried to reboot and reinstall directX and/but same thing comes up so ipress this computer and right clicked on the dvd-unit and it says avaliable space: 0 byte. what has happend and what can i do to fixe this?. :-?its possibe the directx drivers that are with your current installation are out of date, go to this web site and download the LATEST from microsoft :-http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en copy the above into your internet explorer then download from the note "important stuff"
it would be a good idea for you to download windows media player with the NEWER codex as well from here:- http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx that will help you if you want to play any music etc. choose to download and then install each one then that should solve your present problemSooner or later you are going to need an XP CD...
