Answer» I have a new computer with Windows 7 installed. My older 32bit programs WONT load. Is there any way to install and run a 32 bit program on a 64bit OS?32-bit programs work on 64-bit OPERATING systems.
Did you install these 32-bit programs to your Windows 7 computer, or did you just copy the Program Files?I tried to install a very old Lotus Approach program and I assumed it was a 32-bit, 64-bit problem. I found a newer copy on EBAY but the disclaimer states that it didn't work on 64-bit Vista, so I'm assuming that it wont work on 7. That could be a 16 bit application then. They won't run on a X64 system.I AGREE, it's almost surely a 16-bit program, or has 16-bit components. Since it was last upgraded for WinME i'd also have to agree...
