Answer» Hi. I have lost my task bar and start button. I have done everything instructed by various posts and still don't have them back. I have a Alienware 3.6 ghz, 4 MB ram, MULTI disks with loads of spaces available. When I do the Windows key it brings me to my documents folder. I have attached a HJ log to this email in hopes SOMEONE will be able to help without re-installing windows as I already tried that and now have 2 windows programs on my system. A mess, HUH? I ended up "fixing" windows (now I probably have 3 versions in there!) and I am up with my start and bar back. Hi.
