You'll want either a full version of Windows XP Home or Professional or an upgrade of XP Home or Professional. Both must be purchased in stores. Both COME with either no Service Pack, Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2. Be certain that you buy a CD-ROM that has got Service Pack 2. This saves a lot of downloading. Then you are looking in the wrong direction. You can download the latest updates for your current version from Microsoft Windows Update. If you are looking to go from one version to another (Eg. It's difficult to tell from her ambiguous grammar, Mac, but i think she was saying that she has Windows Me but was told she would have to upgrade to Windows XP before she could install Microsoft Office. For all the hype about Office 2003, i don't see where it has much of an advantage over Office XP. So, i'm standing by my advice to not upgrade to Windows XP.Quote Good advice, M_2! Let me guess.
