Solve : AC_RunActiveContent.js error tele2? |
|
Answer» I am using a newly bought Compaq 615 laptop, with Windows 7 and IE 8.0 pre-installed by the supplier. I downloaded and installed Firefox, but it did not solve it. Using Windows 7 amd IE 8 I can go into the site and only a flash player plug in is missing. Using my XP with Firefox th2 ere is no problem. Web mail requires a specific port to pass the firewall. So you have something in your area that blocks part of this site. In what region are you located? Maybe your local ISP has this site on a black list. Hoi Geek Thanks for your counter questions. I have asked your questions to the internet provider, but no answers yet. I have found out something else, that might be useful: I am using Windows 7 STARTER. That also means that my administrator rights have been reduced. They say that I am an admin but I am not. I have made the invisible admin account visible, as advised in option 2 of http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/507-built-administrator-account-enable-disable.html with an elevated command prompt. After that, when I logged in as administrator, I could find the ActiveX settings in my Internet Explorer Options, but unfortunately, I am receiving the same error still. I am in the city Arusha, in Tanzania. Can the Starter version be causing more problems than the normal Windows 7? Try Firefox and see what happens. Also, see this: http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=142348Personally i would never use an e-mail account that requires Active X...Hoi Allen, As I wrote, I tried firefox and I have the same problem. Hoi Patio It was caused historically, first I used this e-mail address and the mail was downloaded to my C-drive every time when I checked my mail (there is probably a word for these kind of mail systems) and now that I have moved to a different country, I have switched to gmail, but I do like to check my old mail address because some mail there is still useful. But was is the disadvantage of a web mail that needs Active X? Hoi everybody It could still be related to this admin rights. I will post a different thread in a few minutes, but after I have saved changes in my Word 7 normal.dot, those changes have "disappeared" if I open Word again. Windows 7 STARTER seems a too restricted thing to me.Hello, I'm wondering if you did find a solution, because I have the same problem! I have XP, and tried with IE, Firefox and Opera and also moved to another country. Hope to hear a solution from you! Hello NetNiet Are you also Dutch and is it also about this same zonnet website? Calling zonnet costs enormously much money and the non-technicians deny the problem. I found a workaround, that works for private e-mail, but not for Paypal and zonnet itself. My gmail allows me to "pretend that gmail is a computer" with the POP technology, so gmail downloads most of my zonnet mail to my gmail, and from Tanzania I can read my gmail without any problem.Hey Fedde, yes I'm Dutch ASWELL and it's the same website! I hope it's fine if I go over in Dutch, because computer problems are terrible for me and to sort it out in English it's even worse Sorry maar ik begrijp het dus niet zo goed in het Engels en ik ben ook niet zo technisch. I did look in GMail and think I found the same solution as you have, because there are lots of emails, it will take some time I guess, but thanks!!! But it stays a problem to reach the website the normal way. Thanks again, you made me very happy! It looks like the tele2 (formerly zonnet) protects IP addresses from Tanzania and Tunesia to access the web-site? I am in Tanzania now and the Dutch person NetNiet who moved to Tunesia has precisely the same problem. |
