Everytime when I visit the site se.tele2.nl , I get a error message POP-up with the text: This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js. That site is the login site for my former private e-mail address via webmail. You can also go there via www.zonnet.nl. I can still type in those boxes but logging in is no longer possible. I tried the same on a COMPUTER of a colleague, with XP and IE 7, but there I had the same problem. I downloaded and installed Firefox, but it did not solve it. I downloaded Adobe flashplayer but it did not solve it either. I called the tele2 help desk twice, but they say it is on my site, but the 2 people did not sound like computer technicians. I have the idea that they should have installed this file on their website, but how can I try something from my site? I did not know if my internet provider could be guilty, so I tried via the Vodafone mobile internet (I moved to Tanzania) but I still had the same problem. For my internet settings, I cannot find " Active X controls" in IE8, but I placed this website in the trusted sites and via options>tools I set every setting as unsafe as possible for the trusted sites. (It is my only trusted site.) Since I have not mch experience with Firefox, I did not try all those settings yet. I installed a SP via Windows Update. I thought it was for IE8, but my help-about still shows 8.0, so maybe it was a Windows Service pack. I do not know where to check that. I cannot e-mail the helpdesk of tele2, because I cannot access their website, so in case (I hope not) that that would be the only solution, could you e-mail them for me and let me know? My computer comes with preinstalled McAfee Total protection Service, that I could ACTIVATE for a free 60 days trial, but I have not done that yet. After that, when I logged in as administrator, I could find the ActiveX settings in my Internet Explorer Options, but unfortunately, I am receiving the same error still.
