Answer» When I put a CD-RW in my CD drive and try to access it I receive an error message: F: is not access able, incorrect function. I have tried to format the disk but I am not allowed to format the disk. I have a Windows XP professional. These are new Memorex disks with up to 12x speed. I was told it could GO at a lower speed when I purchased the disks. Maybe I have disks that are too fast? In the past I had no PROBLEMS formating or saving to CDs. I would appreciate your help. Try opening it from Windows Explorer or My Computer. If this produces no joy-joy go to DEVICE Manager and find the drive...right click it and select remove/uninstall...you will recieve a warning ...ignore it. Upon re-boot Windows will automatically re-install it.
