Solve : accessing a access denied file?

Answer»

My virus reported a infected file.  The software could not delete it.  I tried doing a search for the data and got a access denied.  How can I get to this file so I can attempt to remove it?  Here is the file name:

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{BOC1725E-9F04-4801-B543-907F9F6E7064}\RP50\A0021700.exe

Any help is appreciated. To remove stubborn files, use Killbox.
Killbox is a very powerful TOOL, but be careful with it.
Make sure that the file is a virus or unwanted before you delete it though, as deleting files at RANDOM can cause massive problems. As would seem to be the case here.

What virus scanner?I'd be careful about deleting that file...Virus scan was by AOL/Mcaffee Quote

I'd be careful about deleting that file...
Because it's in the System Volume Information directory?
Or for some other reason?
I wasn't too sure whether it was legit or not which is why I said make sure it is unwanted before deleting. It's either a system file or a system restore...I see.
I thought it had to be something LIKE that with it being in that folder, but I wasn't sure exactly what.
That's also why it would be in use/access denied, then.
Thanks for clearing that up.Turning system restore off & back on might clear it.
