Answer» Hi I have re-installed my Xp cd in the past and ACTIVATED it and this time it said basically that I have activated it too many times and need a new product key. Is this a rip off or what? It is Windows XP Home EDITION OEM Software (VERSION 2002) What should/can I do? besides FORKING over yet another large amount of money Kelly Just contact Microsoft. If it is legit they will walk you through the activation process. This happens if you do it more than 3 times. No big deal.Whew !!!
