Solve : Actually Not Windows But Office - MS Access more particularly.?

Answer»
Hi to  administrator and all,

I had created a program (FORM viewing and querying) in MS access 2000. It works fine with Windows 98. But when I run it under Windows XP (SP-2), I get the message that TWO  .ocx files (Audio Control.ocx and  mscomct2.ocx ver 2.0) are missing and have to be fixed before I can proceed. The message is actually LIKE this :

"your microsoft access contains a missing or broken reference to file Audio Control.ocx ver 2.0 (and mscomct2.ocx ver 2.0 in the next screen) and has to be fixed before proceding. "

So as advised in the help, when I open reference under VB editor, I find the following

"MISSING Microsoft Windows Common Controls - 2.6.0 (SP4)"

What am I supposed to do ?

-------  Also, one of the subreports does not intimate any information even though a good amount of information is available in the database on which the subreport is based (even in Windows 98 under MSoffice 2000).

Please advise

Thanks

You can try to copy the 2 files into the system32 folder on the XP MACHINES. I have done that in the past with good luck.

Dear Mr. Spoiler (?),

I shall try the same tomorrow (since it is late now) and later intimate on this post, whether the PROBLEM was resolved.

Meanwhile, my INTERIM thanks to you  for your immediate (rather instant) reply.

Thanks again.
